Hey guys. I need a huge favor. I need someone in the Colorado Springs area of Colorado (or near there, I am willing to drive line up to castle rock) to take a cat. His name is Mewsic. He’s a mostly outside cat but he’s fixed. He’s part Siamese and idk what else so he’s got this really annoying meow but he’s a total sweetheart towards people. He doesn’t do well around dogs and I’m not sure how he’d respond to other cats.

I would take him from my mom but we’re already having a cat problem and all of the other plans fell through.

He needs to find a good home here today (March 5th) or tomorrow (March 6th) or else he will be taken to the pound and probably put down.

The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily so they can meet their quota of getting FREE FOOD donated every day to abused and neglected animals in their shelters.

Thankfully, I don’t know this because I got it in my dog’s eyes. Nope, I got it in mine. While attempting to bathe Kookie, I went to pop the pump part up on the new bottle and was greeted to a nice flying glob of the shampoo in my left eye. To say it hurt would be a bit of an understatement.

I had to flush my eye three times before it would stop feeling like there were shards of glass in it and my eye was bright red.

A mother goose had lost her lifelong mate and was left alone to create and tend to her nest. She spent the day sheltering her eggs from the cold spring air inside an empty cemetery urn chosen as home. The loss of her male partner made her vulnerable to any would-be predators who choose to approach the nest. But, in an unlikely twist of fate, an adult deer had befriended the mother goose, taking over the role of protector. 
This animal friendship is highly unusual, since there’s no known way that a deer and goose can communicate. Yet somehow the deer has come to understand the need of the nesting mother. 
The deer then spent its days near the urn acting as guardian when needed. As passersby approach the area the deer stands and places itself between the person and the nesting goose. On one occasion the deer even took a protective stance taking on a barking dog near the area of the urn. ♥

The Iberian Wolf Recovery Center in Portugal, my country, is in danger of losing everything it accomplished in the last 25 years, helping these endagered species.
